I can not understand what do you mean (I'm not skilled in LeveJournal )
Btu I think I can see it: I can see "Filling, filling, filling . . . " ( Aug. 13th, 2004 @ 01:16 am ) and of course this "Odd . . ." ( Aug. 13th, 2004 @ 01:24 am )
I don't mind at all :) in fact, I'm going to add you back :)
Welcome!
PS: the reason I'm listed as living in Salisbury even though I say in my info that I live in Rome is that I moved to Salisbury a few days ago and haven't yet had the time to change my info :)
well, the city is very beautiful, calm, green, and lovely. When I came here in holiday last year, i deeply fell in love with it :)
You know, Rome is a wonderful city but it's chaotic, there's not as much green as I'd wish to (although we have some parks, but not as much as there are in London, for example). Furthermore, I didn't like anymoe the Italian politics. Berlusconi, our Prime Minister, is slowly bringing Italy to hell. I don't want to stay there and be brought to hell by a Minister I haven't voted for, thank you very much!
I decided to move to England, and to Salisbury in particular because I really loved the town. Besides, I'm writing a YA book, and it is set in Salisbury. Living here I can have access to the info I need :)
YA stands for Young Adult. It's older than a children book, but not yet for adults. Let's call it a teenage book :). It's somehow what the Harry Potter books are too.
Oh no, I didn't know about the ghosts tours! Mhhhhh I will go have a look in the city today or tomorrow :) as soon as I finish to compile the daily application forms!
I'm looking for anything I can apply for, but mostly my experience is with computer, Internet and sales. I have asked a bunch of application forms in all the shops of Salisbury LOL.
Debenhams is haunted by an Earl or Lord or something - it used to be the Blue Boar Inn and during the civil war this earl had defected to the other side. He was hiding in the Inn and King Charles came and stayed at a house in the Close. He sent his guards over to chop off his head and bring it back to him!! There's a plaque on the wall outside debenhams about it.
The ghost tours are really good, and I think they're even free (or maybe about £3) - just ask in Tourist Information!

Now, if I only could find a job, I'd be happy ^^
Salisbury has a lot of history - have you been on any of the ghost tours or anything? They're great.
You're right about Berlusconi - from what I've heard in the news he's doing a pretty poor job of things.
what sort of job are you looking for?
